Same room
One of the things being in an LDR has taught me is the value of introversion. I'd say I'm 60/40 - 70/30 extroverted-introverted, but I never really learned how to make time for myself before. With LDRs, with my partner and friends alike, we are able to "do our own thing" while be in contact with one another while Skype is up. Hence it being weird surrounded by people and buzzing conversations lately.

Out of Touch
At the start of Summer vacation (for him), CK was traveling with his folks (his Dad and his partner around Italy, and his Mom and her husband around Ireland) for part of June and most of July. Thus, I came to realize how spoiled I had been in being able to talk to him for hours at a time, and how much I appreciate the ability to do so as well as his presence.
Also, Clyde was still alive when I drew this, and it still tugs at my heart whenever I see my drawings of him.

LD Friends
If you don't play DnD, you wouldn't understand the postcard. But ro1120.net is like Skype for rp games, and it's AHmazing. This comic is dedicated to my LD friends, of which are the majority in my life, so thank you all. <3

Shared Interests, pt. 1
He didn't really spit out his coffee... But he looked at me with a tone of voice that implied coffee spillage.

Communication
Aside from telling my own LDR story, I also wanted to include other people's. So please, don't be shy! Share your LDR experiences, the good, the hard, and the funny.
Completely unrelated to this post... I did not realize how much went into a webcomic. Not the webcomic content itself, but the layout. Gods, it has been a pain. I've been trying to figure out how to incorporate navigation icons (first, previous, next, last) into the layout I already have, but to no avail. Oh, and putting a blog section on the same page as the comic but in a completely separate section. I'll figure it out eventually (likely with the help of a computer savvy person), but for now, I've changed the archive on the right column to make it more reader friendly.
