I'm alive
Hello all,
I'm alive. CK and I are still LDR, but MARRIED. And at the moment, I'm still recovering from a busy April.
Plus, I bought myself a new tablet and drawing software. Suuuuuuper fun.
Hopefully I'll get rid of whatever bug of the week I have, plus work stress is picking back up (joy).

Stressed
Back after a brief hiatus... you know, getting married and all. ;)
I'm playing around with image sizes, so please bear with me. March and April have and will be craaaaazy months for yours truly. Work, the name changing process, drawing, and rock climbing will be on the forefront. That, and my first tattoo on Friday (not LDR related, but I'm excited.)
Hopefully I will get April's comic quota started and finished by this weekend, because as I said, April will be nuts.

Fiancé
Most people have to remind me that CK is my fiancé now, and in one week exactly, I'm sure it will take me a while to wrap my head around the term "husband". The person in this comic with me is one of my coworkers. She's a very traditional person in the sophisticated sort of way, in that she is wonderfully feminine, doesn't take crap, and loves pointing out things.
That's right! CK and I are getting married when he visits for spring break! It's one of the reasons for lack of updates... March has been a roller coaster month, let me tell you.
I will have updates for the rest of the month and will hopefully be back on track by April.

ODC's First Commission: Florida and Massachusetts
In February, I was given this fun commission from S.O. in Florida to her LDR partner in Massachusetts. It was a very fun illustration to do, and I hope her partner enjoys the original!

Kaboom!
CK recently found this cool indie game called Keep Talking and No One Explodes, a multiplayer game that has one person direct the other how to defuse the bomb using and online manual. It's perfect for LDR couples, and a great way to understand your strengths and weaknesses of communicating.
We highly recommend it. :)
... I also used the wrong 'defuse' in the comic. I'm so ashamed...

Spring Break
Our initial goal was to get married when he came to visit for the summer, but after this little conversation, we decided to move it earlier. So we're getting married... in less than two months. How surreal (and wonderful) is that?
Closing the distance has never looked so attainable...

Selfless
Yes, they've freaked out to the point that, at 7:30 a.m. as I was getting ready for work, I happened to open the hay box in such a way they decided to go DnD Berserker rage mode. I honestly thought they were going to kill themselves they were ramming against the expen so hard.
But LPT (life pro-tip): rabbits feed off each other energetically. If one is freaking out, the other freaks out and builds on the initial freak out. NEVER chase your rabbits, but get onto the floor, and catch one of them as they pass. I guarantee you the other will calm down as you comfort the one you caught. I learned this the second time around.

Hourly Comic Day 2016
February 1st was Hourly Comic Day, and my first time participating. It was most certainly an interesting practice, and by the time 10:15 rolled around, I was exhausted. I may not have had the most action-packed day, but it forced me to draw and reflect on things I wouldn't normally. The dress I was considering for CK's and my marriage (yup... it's happening... in two months!) was sold out, and I wanted to express my frustration with hands..
But yeah, this is essentially my daily routine during the week.

Baby, It's Cold Outside, pt. 8
Well, there you have it. The Universe's reason why CK's Winter gift was delayed. I was halfway done with the comic before he came to visit for the holidays, and honestly, I was too wrapped up in family, friends, and partner (now fiance!) to really do le art.
But yes, he did propose. And it was a lovely private affair. :)
Due to #Blizzard2016, I wasn't able to scan my art for the rest of the month, so Friday will not have a comic. Wednesday and hopefully the rest of February will.

Baby, It's Cold Outside, pt. 6
The Universe is a funny thing. It didn't hit me until after it happened the reason why the remaining pages were drawn after the trip... ;)

Baby, It's Cold Outside, pt. 5
We actually left around 6 in the morning and arrived in the early afternoon, but hey, drawing and writing webcomics means poetic license. ;)
Bran and Teague were the best travel buns ever! I was initially worried, but I found that feeding them and making sure they had adequate food and water before leaving was a smart move. Rabbits do not tend to eat/drink on the road, so giving them leafy greens and veggies that have water in them helped a lot in that regard.
Still have three more pages to go! I may be late, but I will finish by mid-January.
